New Delhi, July 14 -- The Supreme Court on Tuesday issued notice on petitions filed by several Muslim parties challenging the Madhya Pradesh High Court's judgment declaring the Bhojshala-Kamal Maula complex in Dhar as a temple dedicated to Goddess Saraswati and prohibiting the offering of namaz at the site.
However, a Bench comprising Chief Justice Surya Kant and Justices Joymalya Bagchi and V Mohan declined to grant interim relief restoring the earlier arrangement under which Muslims were allowed to offer Friday namaz while Hindus worshipped on designated days.
