Parmod KumarNew Delhi, Oct. 27 -- The Supreme Court on Tuesday issued notice to Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi on a plea by a journalist who has alleged that she was pushed while covering the Opposition's October 12 march to the top court.
A bench comprising Chief Justice Surya Kant, Justice Joymalya Bagchi and Justice V. Mohana issued formal notice after senior advocate Gaurav Bhatia pointed out that the matter had not been listed despite an earlier indication that it would be taken up on October 26.
Bhatia had raised the issue before the court on October 16, seeking clarity on whether notice had been issued in the application.
