Parmod KumarNew Delhi, June 2 -- The Supreme Court on Tuesday got five new judges - Justice Sheel Nagu, Justice Shree Chandrashekhar, Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva, Justice Arun Palli, and Justice V. Mohana - who were administered the oath of office by the Chief Justice of India, Justice Surya Kant. The oath-taking ceremony was held in the Supreme Court premises.

With the swearing in of Justice Sheel Nagu, Justice Shree Chandrashekhar, Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva, Justice Arun Palli and Justice V. Mohana, the Supreme Court now has 37 judges - just one short of its sanctioned strength of 38 judges.
