Parmod KumarNew Delhi, July 31 -- The Supreme Court on Friday dissolved the marriage between Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and his wife, Payal Abdullah, after being informed that the estranged couple had resolved their matrimonial disputes.
Senior advocate Kapil Sibal, appearing for Omar Abdullah, submitted, "Both of them have embraced freedom. It's all settled. Lordships may grant divorce. All other matters will be withdrawn."A Bench of Justices Pamidighantam Sri Narasimha and Alok Aradhe responded, "That's good.
