Chandigarh, June 1 -- The Punjab State Scheduled Castes Commission has summoned union Minister of State for Railways Ravneet Singh Bittu to appear before it on June 4, 2026, in connection with a case involving the alleged use of casteist slurs.
Giving details, Commission Chairman Jasveer Singh Garhi stated that the matter came to the commission's notice through social media, where it was alleged that the union Minister used derogatory caste-based remarks during his recent visit to Dhuri.
