Bhubaneswar, June 5 -- The State Bank of India (SBI) and National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) on Thursday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to extend Corporate Salary Package (CSP) benefits to contractual workers engaged through contractors at NALCO, in a step towards enhancing employee welfare.

The initiative is expected to benefit around 9,000 contractual workers, bringing them under a range of banking and insurance benefits that were previously available primarily to permanent employees.
