New Delhi, Oct. 14 -- Cockroach Janta Party's (CJP) Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka have been sent to five- days judicial custody in connection with allegedly trespassing into the de-notified protest venue Jantar Mantar and in view of their repeated violations of law, sources said.

There was serious apprehension that if released on bail they will again violate law and instigate others to violate law.

It was on Tuesday morning that Sourav Das, Ashutosh Ranka, and Ajinkya Shinde of the CJP, along with eleven more members of the CJP, had reached Jantar Mantar by trespassing through a private premise.

Despite attempts by police personnel deployed on the site to stop them, they allegedly obstructed the police from discharging their duties.
