Kolhapur/Satara, July 16 -- The 'Ubhe Ringan' (Standing Ringan) ceremony in the Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj -'Palkhi' procession, which is a deeply spritual and highly energetic traditional event, took place at the historic site of "Chandobacha Limbu" in Satara district in the presence of lakhs of Warkari devotees this evening.
It featured the sacred 'Maanjha' horses running in an open field, symbolizing a joyous pause to energize the pilgrims.
During this visually spectacular event, the sacred horses ran the length of the Warkari divisions while thousands of devotees chanted and sang.
The Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Palkhi entered the Satara region after the sacred Nira bath ceremony.
