London, March 7 -- Ismaila Sarr struck twice as Crystal Palace secured a 3-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur, who were reduced to 10 men after Micky van de Ven was sent off in the first half of their Premier League clash.

Sarr had an early goal ruled out for offside before Dominic Solanke gave Spurs the lead in the 34th minute. However, the momentum soon shifted when Tottenham captain Van de Ven received a straight red card four minutes later for fouling Sarr inside the penalty area, as per the Premier League website.

The Senegalese forward levelled the score from the penalty spot before Jorgen Strand Larsen put Palace ahead in the first minute of first-half stoppage time.
