Chandigarh, July 26 -- Haryana Governor Prof Asim Kumar Ghosh said Sant Kabir Jayanti is celebrated at the state level so that society, especially the younger generation, can understand, imbibe and adopt the timeless teachings of Sant Kabir in their lives.
He said Kabir's message remains as relevant today as it was in his own time, and will continue to guide humanity in the future.
The Governor was addressing a gathering organised by Sadguru Kabir Mahasabha on the occasion of Sant Kabir Prakash Utsav in Chandigarh.
