Mumbai, June 25 -- Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut on Thursday urged the Mumbai Police Commissioner to take immediate action against rebel MP Sanjay Patil, who recently joined the Shinde-led Shiv Sena faction, alleging that the latter's public statements amount to evidence of criminal and terror related activities.
In a letter to the police, Raut claimed Patil as having stated, "I have killed five people before", and demanded an investigation into who those individuals were, when they were allegedly killed, and under what circumstances. He further called for a murder case to be registered against Patil and sought action under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).
