Mumbai, March 19 -- Shiv Sena (UBT) leader and Member of Parliament Sanjay Raut has launched a sharp attack over the arrest of self-styled godman Ashok Kharaat, claiming that the case is "more serious than the Epstein files" and raising questions over the silence of senior leaders, including Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
Ashok Kharaat has been arrested by the police in connection with rape allegations, and according to Raut, multiple cases are now emerging against him. He alleged that efforts are being made to protect the accused despite the seriousness of the charges.
