Mumbai, March 7 -- Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut on Saturday accused the ruling leaders in Maharashtra of being addicted to horse trading during elections and alleged that they were accumulating huge wealth through corruption and contract based dealings.

Speaking to media persons, Raut alleged that the ruling side has gathered enormous financial resources through corruption and contracting networks and now contests elections using money power.

"They seem to have developed a fascination for horse trading," he claimed.

Referring to the upcoming Legislative Council elections, Raut said leaders of the opposition parties want Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray to return to the legislature through the polls.
