Patna, May 20 -- Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary today strongly criticised Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over his remarks on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, terming them "unfortunate" and reflective of a negative mindset.
In a statement posted on X, Choudhary said repeated electoral defeats and frustration were evident in Gandhi's words and conduct. He alleged that corruption was rampant during the Congress-led government and accused it of compromising national security.
The Chief Minister asserted that under Modi's leadership, the country's borders have become secure, terrorism has been curbed, and democracy has been strengthened. He also said that India's global standing has improved significantly.
