Patna, April 25 -- : Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary has said that there is immense potential for eco-tourism in the state and directed officials to prepare a comprehensive plan for its development.
Chairing a review meeting on eco-tourism in Patna on Saturday, he asked all concerned departments to work on it expeditiously. He also emphasised the need to link Bihar's historical heritage, cultural, and religious sites with eco-tourism.
The Chief Minister said the government is making sustained efforts to make Bihar an attractive destination for both domestic and international tourists, and to develop it as a hub for spiritual, cultural, and eco-tourism.
