Bhubaneswar, July 30 -- Sambalpur University and Odisha Knowledge Corporation Limited (OKCL) on Thursday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on advancing artificial intelligence (AI), digital education, skill development, research and innovation, marking a significant step towards building a future-ready higher education ecosystem in Odisha.
The agreement, exchanged between Sambalpur University Registrar Prof PK Naik and OKCL Managing Director Dr Manoranjan Puthal in the presence of Vice-Chancellor Prof Bidhu Bhusan Mishra, seeks to align academic programmes with the objectives of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 by integrating AI, digital technologies and industry-relevant skills into higher education.
