Bengaluru, May 20 -- Defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are likely to receive a major boost ahead of the IPL 2026 playoffs, with England opener Phil Salt expected to return to India later this week after recovering from a finger injury.
Salt had been sidelined for nearly a month after injuring a finger on his left hand while attempting to stop a boundary during RCB's loss to Delhi Capitals at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on April 18. Following the injury, the 29-year-old travelled back home to continue his recovery and spend time with his family.
