New Delhi, Sept. 17 -- The Sports Authority of India (SAI) has facilitated an overseas training camp for India's senior judo team at Tsukuba University in Japan as the judokas step up preparations for the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya and the World Judo Championships in Baku.
A 14-member Indian delegation, comprising 11 judokas and three coaches, is taking part in the International Training (Pre-Games) programme at Tsukuba University until October 2.
Three members of the delegation - Asmita Dey in the women's 48kg category, Yamini Mourya in 57kg and Takhellambam Inunganbi in 70kg, are part of India's Asian Games squad.
