Saharanpur, Feb. 24 -- A Rural Development Officer already suspended and lodged in jail on bribery charges is facing fresh action as a Vigilance and Anti-Corruption team conducted raids in a disproportionate assets case on Tuesday morning.
The officer, Sanjay Kumar Walia, posted in the Gagalheri area of Saharanpur district, was targeted by a team that arrived from Meerut at around 7 am. Simultaneous searches were carried out at his residence and his property office.
