Bhopal, Feb. 25 -- The Madhya Pradesh government received in excess of nine lakh complaints against the Sahara Group and embezzlement of Rs 6,689 crore came to light, the state Assembly was informed today.
Replying to Jaivardhan Singh (principal-opposition Congress), Minister of State for Public Health and Medical Education Narendra Shivaji Patal provided the details on behalf of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav.
"A total 9,06,661 applications were submitted by the Group's investors in Madhya Pradesh. Of them approximately 7.5 lakh applications have been resolved in compliance with Supreme Court orders.
