New Delhi, April 17 -- Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva on Thursday said it was difficult to understand as to what made Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav drag the name of Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta while speaking during the Lok Sabha debate on the Women's reservation bill, adding that he should have refrained from such remarks.

Taking a dig at Yadav and his party, Sachdeva said that everyone was aware how much respect they have for women in politics, or otherwise, but the leader must refrain from speaking on women.

Sachdeva said that Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta is a self made, established politician, and a public representative of the people of the national capital.
