London, June 29 -- World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka made a commanding start to her Wimbledon campaign, brushing aside Serbian qualifier Teodora Kostovic 6-2, 6-3 in just 64 minutes to reach the second round on Monday.

The top seed was in complete control from the outset on Centre Court, racing to a 4-0 lead in the opening set before wrapping it up in just 32 minutes. Kostovic, playing in the main draw of a Grand Slam for the first time after coming through qualifying, showed flashes of promise but struggled to cope with Sabalenka's power and consistency.
