The wicketkeeper-batsman smashed a dazzling 75 off just 33 balls, including five fours and six sixes, taking the Proteas to a challenging total of 187 for 4 in 20 overs.
Esterhuizen's innings was a mix of timing, power, and audacity. He toyed with the New Zealand bowlers in the final overs, hitting Ben Sears for a four and a six in the 19th over before lofting another four off James Neesham.
