Thiruvananthapuram, Oct. 8 -- Kovalam Police have taken into custody a 44-year-old Russian woman who had allegedly been staying at a homestay in Kovalam for nearly three months without essential travel documents, including a passport and visa.
The woman, identified as Anna Alkseiva, was taken into custody by a police team led by Kovalam Station House Officer Sheena.
According to police, Anna had been staying at a homestay owned by Hussain. The police have initiated steps to register a case against the homestay owner for allegedly failing to provide the authorities with details of the foreign national staying at the premises.
