Moscow, March 24 -- Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said the recent conflicts in Latin America and West Asia were increasingly risking global destabilisation, accusing Western powers of pushing the world to this state in a bid to preserve remnants of their past global dominance.
Speaking at a meeting of the Gorchakov Fund, Lavrov said that some Russian analysts were now beginning to characterise the happenings of these current global conflicts as akin to the beginning of a third world war, reports TASS.
Further slamming Western countries of risking global peace, he accused the West of continuing to "invest" political and economic resources into its confrontation with Russia, despite what he described as their declining influence.
