Kyiv, Sept. 13 -- A Russian drone strike set a gas station and several trucks ablaze near Ukraine's border with Poland today, Ukrainian authorities said, as Moscow stepped up aerial attacks across the country.

As reports emerged the strike hit the town of Yahodyn in northwestern Ukraine, just hundreds of metres from the Polish border.

"Russia's barbaric strikes at the Ukraine-Poland border crossing point in Yahodyn are not just a continuation of its attacks on our state borders. This is Putin's terror 'knocking' directly on the doors of the EU and NATO," Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha wrote on X.

Debris from the strike ignited the gas station building and several trucks parked nearby, Ukrainian broadcaster Suspilne reported. The border c...
