Beijing, May 20 -- Russia and China condemn initiatives involving the blocking, freezing or seizure of assets and property of foreign states, according to a joint statement released on Wednesday.
"The parties condemn initiatives related to the blocking, freezing or seizure of the assets and property of foreign states and emphasize their right to take retaliatory measures in accordance with international legal norms," the statement on the further strengthening of the comprehensive partnership and strategic cooperation between Russia and China read.
