Nagpur, March 19 -- Mohan Bhagwat on Thursday said the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is set to undergo a major structural reorganisation in view of its expanding work, with the number of administrative units likely to increase from 46 provinces to 86 "sambhags" (divisions) across the country.

Addressing a programme here during the centenary celebrations of Marathi daily Tarun Bharat, the RSS supremo said decentralisation has become necessary as the organisation's activities and outreach have grown significantly.

He said the annual representatives' meetings will now be held twice at the regional level in addition to one all-India meeting, aimed at improving coordination and efficiency.
