Burdwan, May 26 -- With the change of guard in West Bengal, teachers in Burdwan Sudder North subdivision are now joining the RSS-affiliated teachers' organisation in large numbers.
Many who were earlier under the Trinamool Congress's umbrella and some with Left affiliations, attended the membership and orientation programme of Akhil Bharatiya Rashtriya Sikshik Mahasangh (ABRSM) in Burdwan, held on Tuesday at Burdwan Town School. The turnout surprised even the organisation's leadership.
The meeting was organised by ABRSM Purba Bardhaman District Committee and ABRSM (SE) Sadar Town- 2 Circle.
