Bhubaneswar, Sept. 12 -- Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) of the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has achieved a major milestone in pipe manufacturing by producing more than 20,000 tonnes of pipes in a single month at its Electric Resistance Welded (ERW) Pipe Plant.
The plant has also registered nearly 31 per cent year-on-year growth in production during the April-August period of the 2026-27 financial year, reflecting its sustained focus on operational efficiency and product quality.
