Bhubaneswar, July 9 -- Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP), a unit of the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), has strengthened its presence in international markets by exporting 36,033 tonnes of steel during the first quarter of the current financial year.
The plant concluded June and the April-June quarter with encouraging operational and commercial performance, driven by the disciplined operations of its New Plate Mill (NPM) and a focused export dispatch strategy.
During June, the NPM executed export orders of 14,144 tonnes, meeting the precise quantity requirements of overseas customers.
