Agartala, July 2 -- The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) conducted a significant operation against illegal narcotics trafficking and seized 55,626 bottles (100 ml each) of codeine-based E-SKuf and Fairdyl cough syrup, estimated to be worth Rs 6.54 crore, from a railway parcel van at Agartala Railway Station today, and arrested one person.
The parcel van was initially booked from Katihar to Agartala as a consignment of general goods on June 25, 2026. It arrived at Agartala Railway Station on June 30 and was then placed on Line No. 13 for unloading.
