Hyderabad, March 19 -- The Telangana government has sanctioned Rs 594 crore for expanding and upgrading five key road corridors in Khammam district, with the projects set to be taken up under the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM).

The recently issued government order sanctioning the funds follows efforts led by Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, aimed at improving connectivity and strengthening infrastructure in the district.

The proposed works include expansion of the identified roads into four-lane corridors, covering a total stretch of around 100 km across Khammam, Wyra and Madhira constituencies.
