Hyderabad, March 5 -- union Minister for Coal and Mines G Kishan Reddy on Thursday inspected the redevelopment works of Hyderabad Deccan Railway Station along with senior officials of South Central Railway and said the station is being upgraded with modern, international-standard facilities.
The minister said the Centre has allocated about Rs 350 crore for the project, with Rs 327 crore already finalised through the tender process. The redevelopment includes construction of a 6,500 sq ft central hall on the upper floor with restaurants, food courts and commercial stalls, besides modern passenger amenities.
