New Delhi, June 25 -- The Delhi government is all set to take an important step towards improving government schools of the national capital with modern infrastructure, enhanced safety measures and improved facilities.
According to Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, the 75 CM SHRI Schools will undergo comprehensive repairs, upgradation and the addition of new facilities, following approval of Rs 264 crore 90 lakh 88 thousand towards this at the recent Expenditure Finance Committee (EFC) meeting.
She said the government's objective is not merely to repair school buildings, but to create a learning environment where the students have access to safe, clean, modern and inspiring campuses.
