Bhubaneswar, June 24 -- In a well-orchestrated drive against narcotics trafficking, the Odisha Special Task Force (STF) recently dismantled an inter-state drug trafficking network operating along the Odisha-Andhra Pradesh border, arresting seven members of the syndicate and seizing hashish oil and ganja worth nearly Rs 230 crore.

The successful dismantling of the interstate drug racket was highlighted during yesterday's seventh meeting of the State-Level Narco Coordination Centre (NCORD), chaired by Chief Secretary Anu Garg.

The meeting reviewed the state's ongoing efforts to curb drug trafficking and strengthen enforcement mechanisms.
