New Delhi, March 24 -- Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva on Tuesday welcomed the State's annual Budget for the financial year 2026- 27 presented by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta in the Assembly, calling it "Sarvajan Hitay, Sarvajan Sukhay", budget, inspired by Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya's Antyodaya principle and Prime Minister Narendra Modi's policy of holistic development.
Sachdeva said that the budget is prepared in a way that it offers benefits for every section of society, stating that this budget of Rs 1,03,700 crore is the largest in the national capital's history, with the government's own revenue covering about 74 per cent of the expenditure, while remaining 26 per cent has clearly defined allocations.
