Bhubaneswar, July 20 -- In a major step towards digital transformation and enhanced workplace safety, the New Plate Mill (NPM) of Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) has launched the "My Area, My Responsibility" Android application, aimed at promoting a proactive safety culture through technology-driven operations.
The initiative, introduced by the top management of the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), encourages employees to identify workplace hazards, report unsafe conditions and ensure timely corrective action.
