Cardiff, July 17 -- Joe Root produced another masterclass in one-day batting, carrying England through an early collapse with an unbeaten 99 before Gus Atkinson applied the finishing touches as the hosts defeated India by four wickets in the second One-Day International at Sophia Gardens on Thursday to level the three-match series 1-1.
