Bagalkot (Karnataka), Sept. 3 -- Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's 'Chhatron Ki Goonj' campaign, aimed at amplifying students' voices, has come under sharp scrutiny in Karnataka after a government school roof collapsed while children were attending classes in Bagalkot.
Turning the incident into a political counterattack, Karnataka Leader of Opposition R. Ashoka on Thursday challenged Gandhi to take his 'Chhatron Ki Goonj' programme to the affected school at Mugololli Tanda in Bagalkot taluk and listen to the students who were inside when the roof gave way.
"Mr Rahul Gandhi, how about doing a 'Chhatron Ki Goonj' at this Karnataka's 'Khatakhat Roof School'?" Ashoka said in a post on X.
