Panchkula, June 2 -- Newly appointed Chairman of the Haryana Labour Welfare Board, Rohtash Jangra, formally assumed charge at the Board's headquarters in Sector-4, Panchkula.
After taking over on Sunday, he expressed gratitude to Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini for entrusting him with the responsibility.
Addressing officials and supporters after assuming office, Jangra said under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of the Chief Minister, he would work tirelessly for the welfare of workers and the protection of their rights.
"The welfare of labourers and ensuring that the benefits of government schemes reach every eligible beneficiary will be my foremost priority," he said.
