Mumbai, March 6 -- A fresh controversy has emerged involving the investigation into the aircraft accident that killed former Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on January 28, with MLA Rohit Pawar alleging that a key individual questioned in the case received special treatment from investigators.
Pawar has repeatedly claimed that the accident may have involved a major conspiracy and has held several press conferences in recent days raising questions about the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
He also met Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and submitted some documents to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to aid the probe.
