Mumbai, July 7 -- NCP (Sharad Pawar faction) MLA Rohit Pawar on Tuesday launched a scathing attack on the Maharashtra government over the structural integrity and construction quality of the newly inaugurated Mumbai-Pune Expressway 'Missing Link' project, alleging major scam in the execution of the multi-crore infrastructure project.
Referring to recent incidents of water leakage inside tunnels, road cracks, and landslides barely two months after the project's inauguration, Pawar alleged that the Rs 7,000-crore infrastructure project was marred by corruption and demanded a comprehensive technical audit.
