Robbers snatch gold chains from Circar Express passengers near Bapatla

Bapatla, June 15 -- : A gang of robbers snatched gold chains from the passengers travelling in the Kakinada-bound Circar Express at the Nallamada railway bridge near the railway station here in the wee hours on Monday.

Government Railway police DSP Akkeswara Rao told the media that a group of robbers committed chain snatching from the women passengers in the S3 and S6 compartments of Chengalpattu-Kakinada Port Circar Express. The panicked passengers stopped the train by pulling the chain.
