Hyderabad, July 17 -- Director of the RBVRR Telangana State Police Academy, Abhilasha Bisht, IPS, on Friday called upon newly inducted Regional Transport Officers (RTOs) to work with road safety as their primary goal, stressing the need for technology-based enforcement, effective implementation and public awareness to reduce road accidents.
Addressing the valedictory ceremony of a two-month induction training programme for three Telangana Transport Department RTOs at the Police Academy, she said every decision taken by officers in uniformed services directly impacts public safety. She urged them to perform their duties with a thorough understanding of the Motor Vehicles Act, legal procedures and enforcement mechanisms.
