Pune, April 3 -- River rejuvenation projects being implemented by the state government at the cost of crores are leading to the creation of "concrete jungles," ultimately destroying the natural habitats around rivers, environmental activist Somnath Aba Musudage said on Friday.
He stressed the need to make the government aware of these consequences.
Musudage, a resident of Dehu village, has been leading a cleanliness drive for the Indrayani River for nearly two decades.
