Dimapur, June 11 -- Calling the killing of six innocent Nagas allegedly by the Kuki community in Manipur as "tragic, inhuman and horrific", Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio today appealed to the central and the Manipur governments to take all necessary and urgent measures to ensure that justice is delivered.
In a social media post, Rio said those responsible for this heinous crime must be identified, apprehended and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
"Accountability is essential. Only through a fair, transparent and credible process can a measure of confidence be restored among the people," he said.
