Hyderabad/Delhi, July 29 -- Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Wednesday said the right to vote is the cornerstone of Indian democracy and the Constitution, and ensuring that every eligible citizen is enrolled as a voter remains a key objective of the Congress party.
Speaking to the media after the TPCC Coordination Committee meeting at the AICC headquarters in New Delhi, Bhatti said the meeting, chaired by Telangana Congress in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan, discussed voter registration, implementation of government welfare schemes and preparations for the Graduate MLC elections.
