Imphal, May 21 -- The fifth edition of the Revival of Indigenous Native Games (RING) 2026 got underway today at Mapal Kangjeibung, Imphal West, marking the beginning of a five-day celebration of Manipur's traditional sports and martial traditions. The event is jointly organised by the Manipur Upliftment Centre and the National Yuva Cooperative Society.
The initiative, which centres on indigenous games as living expressions of community identity and intergenerational heritage, aims to empower youth and foster leadership through sports and shared cultural traditions.
