Kaithal, Aug. 30 -- District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Aparajita on Sunday stated that the Election Commission of India (ECI) has issued a revised schedule for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list in Haryana.
The deadline for filing claims and objections to the voter list has been extended from August 30 to September 30.
During this period, eligible citizens will be able to have their names included in the voter list and submit claims and objections related to the list.
She said that the process of issuing notices and disposal of claims and objections will continue till October 28. After this, the final voter list will be published by the ECI on November 6 this year.
